(It is highly recommended during winter to have a vehicle with snow tires or chains for easy access to this home. Most tires manufactured today have mud and snow rating. Just check the tire wall for the “M & S” symbol.) Because this home has been the owner’s primary residence for over twenty years, it is very well stocked with everything you will need to make this your home away from home. The interior has been freshly painted and is furnished with unique antiques and comfy lodge furniture and original artworks. The kitchen has an abundance of gadgets, appliances and utensils. All the basic food stuffs and dry goods will be conveniently available so that you can spend more of your vacation time on vacation. Spend a leisurely hour or so, snow shoeing through the Upper Truckee River meadow with man’s best friend. On a cold winter’s night with a fire roaring in the woodstove, hop into the hot tub on the deck, just you and the stars. No crowds, no lines, peace and tranquility are yours here!
